ABOUT ME
I have been into software developed for more than two decades, spanning from the days of DOS up until Windows 10.
I started coding out of boredom. The family computer was an outdated relic that didn't really offer much in terms of gamming. The only fun activity on it was a program called GWBasic.
When I in 1995 got my own computer (486@50 4 mb ram), it could actually play games. Though I still found myself returning to the programming application qBasic. Coding had become a huge pass time. The only difference between that and my previous machine turned out to be me coding in a more modern language. If qBasic can be called that?!
A couple of years later I decided to learn a common language that supported an out of the box compiler. Which caused me to learn Turbo Pascal. I spend a couple of months using the language. I vividly recall coding a unit that encapsulated mouse functionality, not that I really got to use it since I would switch to Delphi shortly after picking up Turbo Pascal.
Between 1998 and 2012 I coded primarily in Delphi. By the early 2010's Delphi had become a footnote in the history of computer languages and so a switch was necessary. I ended up learning C# as it seemed one of the most popular.
Since 2012 I have mostly been coding in C# using WinForms. The years however hasn't been kind to the old WinForms framework. The non-existant scaling support prompted me to learn WPF in the ladder half of 2019.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Over the past two decades, I've messed around with a number of a number of technologies. It has made me well rounded in the world of coding. I understand the concept of coding and learning a new language if merely the requirement away.

The CoolMon Project
Lead Programmer & Lead Designer
By far the biggest thing I've ever done. I took an outdated program and brought it into the 21st century. Mostly by creating a plugin engine that would allow unlimited extensibility. But that hardly tells the story. You can learn more by clicking the following mintos .
